Property Management Change

The Board of Directors of The Pines at Meadow Ridge Lodges Association is pleased to announce the retention of the Alderwood Group as its new managing agent.
At the expiration of the contract with our previous manager, the Board determined it would be prudent and responsible to examine the availability and credentials of other companies capable of managing our Association.  During the past six months, members of your Board have contacted and communicated with five management companies with both condominium and interval ownership management experience throughout Colorado and the United States.  Based upon submissions from those companies, your Board narrowed its search list to three companies, including our previous manager, each of which was informed of the Board’s expectations for the Pines and was invited to make formal presentations to the Board.
Included in those presentations were: meetings with the owners and managers; a draft contract for services; tours of properties presently under management; review of reports prepared for Board oversight; enhanced services provided; and lengthy discussions of the requirements and expectations of your Board for our Association.   After those presentations, your Board met for several additional days comparing and contrasting the information presented, the price structure in the three presentations, the perceived professionalism of managers, and unique values of each organization.  While the decision was not an easy one, your Board is convinced that the Alderwood Group is best qualified to meet its expectations for the future of the Pines and is capable of doing so with no increase in the costs of managing our Association.
Lastly, the Board is grateful to Allegiant Management who became our property managers over seven years ago when our Association was in poor financial condition.  They have worked very hard at bringing us up to our present good financial shape.  We wish them the very best for the future.
